For schools

Your school’s own guidance portal, under your name.

Owtset gives your Grade 10 to 12 students a place to work out what to study, prepare for the tests that matter, and understand what it actually costs — with your counsellors deciding what appears in it.

Questions

What does the school do?
Hand out a code to each class. Students sign in with it and the portal appears under your name. There is nothing to install, no data to upload and no licence to administer.
What does it cost?
Nothing. The school portal is free and is intended to stay that way.
Who decides which universities students see?
You do. Your counsellors mark the universities that fit your school, and can remove any that do not. A student sees your list, not ours.
What do counsellors get?
A view of the cohort — who is preparing, who has stalled, who has not started. Enough to know which conversation to have next, without asking anyone to fill in a form.
What about our students’ data?
Students are minors, so this is the part we take most seriously. Data stays in India, parents can be given visibility of their own child, and nothing is sold or shared with a university.
